Texas Roadhouse, hands down.... Plus they give a 20% "Local Hero" discount (Military Active or Retired) I get a 12 ounce rib-eye, side, salad, and soda and wife gets 6 ounce sirloin, side, salad, soda and comes to 28$ after tax (with discount). Way better flavored steak at TR
I have been to both restaurants a couple of times. I thought that both were quite good and a major improvement over Outback. Both have good early bird specials.
I am a little hesitant to return to Texas Roadhouse. They just settled with the EEOC for $12M for discrimination against older workers.
The restaurant industry is not exactly known for having older folks on staff. Many companies settle discrimination cases. You'd be hard pressed to eat out at any chain that hasn't been caught for something. Same with grocery stores.
Ate at Logans once, after a funeral, and never had a more bland steak. Never been to TR and wouldn't consider going to one. I grill my own steaks and that's the way I like it.
I like both for different reasons.
Logan's has cole slaw
T/R - like the butter for the bread Also, they have the cactus blossom while Logan's has/had something similar (petals) , now they no longer do them
Logan's is a short drive down the road for us. To get to a T/R is 30 mins drive.
Which restaurant do you like better between these two and why? I've never been to Logan's and I absolutely love Texas Roadhouse.
Texas Roadhouse. I love the chili...it's all I get there as everything else is too dang many calories.
