People seem to love the bread and butter at Texas Roadhouse. Too sweet for me.
I do enjoy the food though. And good prices.

Texas Roadhouse, hands down.... Plus they give a 20% "Local Hero" discount (Military Active or Retired) I get a 12 ounce rib-eye, side, salad, and soda and wife gets 6 ounce sirloin, side, salad, soda and comes to 28$ after tax (with discount). Way better flavored steak at TR

Yes, the overly sweetened butter/bread is a miss for me, too. If I'm eating steak and potatoes, I'm more than okay with savory accompaniments.

I am a little hesitant to return to Texas Roadhouse. They just settled with the EEOC for $12M for discrimination against older workers.

The restaurant industry is not exactly known for having older folks on staff. Many companies settle discrimination cases. You'd be hard pressed to eat out at any chain that hasn't been caught for something. Same with grocery stores.

I don't think Logan's is in Eastern Washington at all. We do have a Texas Roadhouse in Kennewick but so far have not tried it.

Generally I just grill or pan roast a steak at home, cheaper, and at least as good, IMHO.

I prefer Texas Roadhouse. Ate at Logans once and wasn't crazy about it although I cant remember exactly why.

The only problem I have with Texas Roadhouse is that they are really loud. We try to go earlier before they fill up with the dinner crowd.

Ate at Logans once, after a funeral, and never had a more bland steak. Never been to TR and wouldn't consider going to one. I grill my own steaks and that's the way I like it.

I like both for different reasons.
Logan's has cole slaw
T/R - like the butter for the bread Also, they have the cactus blossom while Logan's has/had something similar (petals) , now they no longer do them

Logan's is a short drive down the road for us. To get to a T/R is 30 mins drive.
