I dunno a name for it Nomad but we will cut up a sausage link and mix in sauerkraut or cabbage. Fry it up!! Good eats! Diced tomatoes with the cabbage (not the kraut) Love tomatoes in most things. Onions and for you some jalapenos. We have the little ones to contend with right now though. 2- 24 yr olds.

Yep I had forgot about the onions. I always have to add the jalapenos on my plate on the top. Wife will not touch 'em.

Debating on it......I had scallops a couple of weeks ago, and just pan-seared them, put them on salad greens, and drizzled balsamic reduction over.
Thought I would ask what everyones fave scallop recipes are???

I made a big pot of Lentil stew/soup. It's too thick to be soup. I suffer from expanding pot syndrome. It happens when I make salads and soups. I started making the lentil stew in a decent sized pot. Ten minutes after chopping and adding to the pot I had to get out the monster pot. Now I have so much soup I had to freeze a bunch. But it tastes good so no complaints, lol.

I bought a sirloin/tri-tip roast today. I'm considering using the water smoker to slow cook it and then slice real thin for home made sandwich meat. And then again I got this crazy idea floating around in my unoccupied space that says I can put it in the Weber with a water pan and do it that way and not dry it out. Maybe I'll have a roast burger that Arby's will be jealous of.

Keep us posted on how you do it and how it turns out, if you do it in the pan, maybe add some beef base to let it soak in, maybe cover to keep moist?...you know beef these days... I am sure whatever you do will have Arby's jealous...no fake meat at your house!!!

You made me swallow my gum reading this. Just think they could be out in the wide open world not contacting you but once a month or two.

Grannysroost are you saying Arbys is fake beef?

YLisa I do the exact same thing when cooking soup/stew. It always tastes better the next day doesn't it?
