Side of buttered corn

tonight will be cauliflower faux fried rice with shrimp & mixed veggies, apple with salted caramel sauce for dessert

Tonight pan baked salmon fillet with steamed zucchini,onion and tomato slices served with boiled potatoes and curly parsley.To drink Perrier with lemon.For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

Well dinner didn't quite go as planned yesterday - it snowed here most of the day (rare for Austin) and we lost power from shortly before 1 to shortly before 6. I defrosted some hotdog buns next to the fireplace and just as I was sending DH out in the freezing cold to grill us some dogs, the power came back on. I was able to cook the pork cutlets but not the cabbage, so today's meal will be fish tacos with some slaw and I'll cook the rest of the cabbage for a future meal this week.

Need to use up the rest of the ham we defrosted for the quiche, so Split pea and ham soup. Fresh sour dough on the side for DH.

Meat loaf made with 50% elk and 50% hot Italian sausage, grilled squash and fresh garlic bread.

Homemade burgers using beef, pork and veal mix. Adding some Lipton onion soup to the meat and some other seasonings. will cook them in the cast iron pan, I'll melt some white cheddar on top.
