Sounds yummy. Make sure you don't get a tummy ache due to excessive consumption of cheese.

I am supposed to be on a heavy diet, and was chastised yesterday for trying a small 4mm by 3mm bit of provolone . I should not be eating cheese till my weight falls below 155 lb, which is a long way. Every 4 months, I feel the need to break this habit.

Why is there nothing made of fruit? It's all so cheesy or milky or heavy.
What do you mean. There are several Indian desserts which make use of fruits. Pineapple kesari is relatively light and does not feel cheesy and heavy unless you add excessive amounts of ghee. It also requires less preparation time. However, do keep in mind that all Indian sweets use ghee or milk to some degree. This is unavoidable no matter what sweet you buy.

I was in cheese heaven earlier this year when we went to visit friends in France. At the end of every meal the cheese tray came out with at least 5 types of cheeses, and also fresh French bread. I wonder why I gained weight that week?!

Three+ year old gouda. It's as dense as wood but very flavorful and the little cheese cyrstals inside it give a nice texture.

Add to my cheese curd addiction: swiss; asiago alone, or with balsamic vinegar infusion or rosemary and olive oil, or shredded; sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, blue cheese, well, I'll just say I've never met a cheese I didn't like! (But then, I AM from Wisconsin!!)
