I like chili and rice and I'm from the south. I also like chili over egg noodles. It seems like my mother read this suggestion in a newspaper when I was a teenager.

DH loves chili over spaghetti, which is really a Cincinnati thing, but then again, his people are from Kentucky, even though he was born and raised here in Florida.....go figure!

sauteed left over rib eye beef strips which were marinated in soy sauce and cooked with green onion with onions, added japanese mirin to this along with some more pepper salt and small dash of sugar and ginger powder

ate with schzewan cucumber salad which is basically quartered cucumber and julienne carrot in rice wine and vinegar with sea salt and dash of chili powder and chilled in fridge overnight

also with steamed white and brown rice mixed

Ever had a chili, onion and cheese omellete? With pan-fried potatoes?

That'll get your day started better than left over pizza!
