Our Burger King is better than McDonalds and much better than Wendys. The last visit to Wendys they served me a chicken sandwich that was so tough I had to throw it away.
I agree - I don't know what Wendy's has done to their chicken burgers - it used to be my favorite. Juicy, moist chicken breast with everything! These days they are as dry as the desert! If I ever happen to eat there again, I won't drive away without tasting or at least looking at the meat.

Toss up between McDonald's Big Mac's & Burger King Whopper's. I have to be in the mood for Burger King's whopper's as sometimes I can get to feeling yicky after eating the whopper's but other than that I do like them. If I go to Wendy's I get their Jr. bacon & cheese burger's. Don't care for Steak n Shake, & for all the other places never heard of them.
My absolute favorite of those listed is Burger King. I just love the Whoppers (but I usually get the Whopper Jr.). The smoky flavor is what I love most, along with the fact that the lettuce, tomato and onion aren't ever wilted or indistinguishable like those found in most other fast food burgers, such as McDonald's.
I do like McDonald's, though. The plain hamburgers with the finely diced onions in them are my favorite burgers there. What I really love at McDonald's is the greasy, salty fries and the Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. The chicken sandwiches do have wilted lettuce, but they taste great. McDonald's also has a fairly good strawberry shake, and I also love the frozen strawberry lemonade drinks they have in the summer.
I like Wendy's as well. The Junior Bacon Double Cheeseburger is my favorite burger offering there. But, what I really love at Wendy's is the chocolate Frosty.
Sonic is okay for hamburgers, but what I've always really loved from there is the Extra Long Cheese Coney and the drinks, such as the Oceanwater and Strawberry Limeade. Their strawberry shakes are also my absolute favorite anywhere.
In New Mexico we have our local, specialty green chile cheeseburgers that we are obsessed with. McDonald's will occasionally offer an okay version, but the best by far at a chain restaurant is offered by our state's local and homegrown burger chain, Blake's Lotaburger. Blake's also has a strawberry shake that is probably my second favorite after Sonic, but which was my favorite all the years growing up before I ever had one at Sonic.
Whataburger is another place that I love. Everything there is good, but I especially like their breakfast items and chocolate shakes. Theirs is the only chocolate shake I've tasted that actually has somewhat of a distinguishable chocolate flavor.
At Carl's Jr. I love the bacon cheeseburgers and the mushroom burgers.
Fuddruckers also has great hamburgers and I especially love the hamburger buns there, whereas in most other places the bun isn't anything notable at all.
When I make hamburgers at home I especially love to use Walmart's Great Value brand wheat hamburger buns. They have a great flavor and texture that adds to the overall burger.
Notice, most on the list are national, In&Out is strictly mid west and have now moved to Texas and yet, they have the most votes. I guess that pretty much says it all.
I do like Burger King, as I mentioned, we hadn't been there in years but decided to give them a try last week. We were not disappointed. They still have a charcoal flavor, use real onions and lettuce, not the shredded junk and they came out hot.. Do they compare to In&Out? nope, but they are better than nothing.
