I just put a turkey breast in the oven. I am making yeast rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans and deviled eggs. And I think I have everything I need to make a dump cake too.
It must be rotisserie day! We are making pulled pork on the rotisserie, sauteed mixed veggies (zucchini, squash, onion, garlic, asparagus, portobella, shiitake, and button mushrooms) with EVOO and aged Balsamic Vinegar, salmon grilled with honey and butter, homemade mac and cheese, and homemade peach cobbler for dessert! We are having company over - this is not an everyday meal!

I am on my way to your house! Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite meal.
We are having shrimp in garlic sauce over jasmine rice.
This is the basic recipe. I sometimes add other chopped veggies and/or mushrooms. I almost always make it with ground turkey.
Stuffed Cabbage Casserole
1 lb. 93% lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
1/2 cup instant brown rice
1 8oz.can tomato sauce
1 14oz can diced tomatoes
1/4 cup water
4 cups shredded cabbage or cole slaw mix (in the bag already shredded)
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
shredded cheese to taste
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Brown the ground meat and chopped onion, garlic. Drain. In a large bowl, mix everything else and then add the meat. Pour into an sprayed casserole dish, cover and bake for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle on shredded cheese and continue baking until cheese is melted.
