yeah and she's having trouble finding a job. She had no trouble finding two here, and our unemployment is so much worse. I think there must be a bias for people who move here from NYC when it comes to jobs.

When I first came from NYC to FL and was looking for a job I definitely felt like there was a bias against me,

Well, maybe it has nothing to do with NYC then. I'm also from NYC and got every job I interviewed for, but maybe there is no connection. It may be that now back in NYC, they see her as having been in too many jobs in too short a period, and companies are afraid of losing money on agency fees. And, so many companies are now refusing to even interview people who aren't currently employed, and she's been back in NYC for over 3 months now.
