Looking for recommendations. We are considering Covenant Christian and FW Christian.
I live in east Keller and mapped to Florence. Extremely disappointed in curriculum, checked out teachers and ridiculous behavior allowed in the class room. Kids are allowed to cuss, throw water, hit, spit and bullying is rampant. A lot of problem kids. My kids have heard so much inappropriate content that I want to make the move now rather than in 5th grade. Another gripe is there is a perception that parents have to give lots of gift cards for teachers to be fair to your children. It is crazy how many times per year parents are asked to give gifts to the teacher..every holiday, birthday and every day for 2 weeks a year. I'd rather pay tuition and give when we want.

I know the best privates are in Dallas, but I need a closer school. We do apply each year for the lottery at Westlake, so far no luck.

You're close to either one. Tour both and see what you think.

Thank you and yes I will tour both but looking for reviews and opinions here.
I heard FWC does not have a stable elementary but it does have good leadership and curriculum. I have heard all positive reviews on Covenant. It will be nice to have them in a Christian learning environment and in one place through graduation. I could not be more unimpressed with kisd.

I'm also looking for a private school and live close to Shady Grove so the schools you mentioned are also on my radar. I hope to tour them next week along with a couple Catholic schools. I'm surprised by your experience at KISD, definitely not good!
