I'm looking for a great OB/GYN and recommendations on hospitals to deliver a baby?

Dr. Larry Tatum, He's the best. He's kinda arrogant but it's because he knows his stuff. He was on the list of top OBGYN's in Texas in that Texas Monthly magazine. He's taken care of my wife on our last two kids. He's in Bloxum Tower at Harris Methodist in downtown FTW. Harris was also where they were born and we couldn't really ask for more.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Laura Bradford in Fort Worth. I am not sure what hospitals she delivers in but I loved her.

She is just flat out wonderful, she listened to my fears and concerns and answered all my MANY questions.

She delivered my daughter at Huguely but she also delivers at other hospitals. She has an office over in the hospital district in Fort Worth, right in the middle of all the big ones, including the childrens hospital that has a NICU if you need it. I should imagine she delivers at Harris which is connected to the childrens hospital by an elevated walk way.

Hopefully somebody good is taking new patients! When I moved here....it took me FOREVER to find a OB/GYN that was accepting new patients!

Good luck!

Dr. Kolar at Harris Southwest is awesome! She's at the Fort Worth Women's Clinic along with several other female doctors. She delivered my third and fourth children and was my favorite of five deliveries. The hospital is great, too.

I agree with the reccomendation for Dr. Bradford. I was referred to her by my fertility specialist whom used her to deliver her own baby. I went to Dr. Bradford for 2 high risk pregnancies and she really is fantastic. She delivers at Harris Fort Worth downtown (although she may deliver at other hospitals, as well. I know she mainly goes to Harris, though).
She is very busy, however, and so you can sometimes expect to wait.... however, the quality of care I receive from her makes the wait justified. She is, by far, the best OB-GYN I have EVER been to.

I'm a patient of Dr. Bradford's and also think she is wonderful. She delivers at both Harris and Baylor All Saints. Like another poster said though, definitely expect a wait when visiting. Unless you get an early morning appt. you'll be waiting at least 1 hour usually more to get in.

I also highly recommed Dr. Bradford. You do always have to wait when you go to your appointment but it is well worth the wait. She answers all your questions & goes out of her way to make you feel at ease.
