Is Dorco the best (cheapest) source? - I'm not willing to give up convenient disposal 3-blade plus glide-strip cartridges. No problem with generics but with the high prices!!! How can I best buy these?
I use an old fashion type "Safety Razor" with the double edge disposable blades to shave with first and finish up with my new type disposable Plastic Razor. I like Good News the best.
That way the Good News last a real long time as I'm only using it very little. Blades for the Safety Razor are pretty cheap saving me money all the way around.
When I was broke, I used a safety razor with double edged blades from the supermarket.
The other option would be an electric shaver, so you pay more up front but have no recurring expenses till the blades finally wear out.
I would bet that the two cheapest options for total cost over time are the electric and the safety razor. I wouldn't be prepared to bet which of those two is the lowest cost but you could do the estimates for yourself. Personally, I'm a wimp and this is an area where I'm willing to spend more for comfort.
Dollar tree 10 for a dollar. Double edge disposable
Son using dollar club so far OK with it
