Zuccini, tomatoes, cucumbers and the last of the greenbeans for the season. The weather has turned, so despite the greenhouse we are nearing the end for everything.
A pan full of yard long beans (although they were only about 30" long and not a full yard long), some dinosaur kale, four tomatoes, tangerines and lemons. Our neighbor's garden provided us with some star fruit. Yum! I'll trade beans for star fruit any day.
A couple of red, ripe tomatoes from my 'wild tomato' plant that sprung up mid-summer. These plants are VERY prolific, and on 4 plants, there are DOZENS of green tomatoes that MAY have time to ripen if this uncharacteristic warmth (for New Hampshire) continues. This week is forecast for mid-70s day temps, 50s night. The ripening tomatoes aren't sweet like a summer tomato, but they're still better than the cardboard flavored ones in the supermarket.
Herbs are still going strong, though I think I'll be harvesting the last batch next week. Thyme, chives & oregeno are still looking/tasting pretty good
Big juicy tomatoes that keep on going due to this warm weather we're having. Tomorrow I'm actually going to have a summer squash. In the fall.
