We picked and ate the first tomato today. It was delicious.

There are baby eggplants, little peppers, and one baby watermelon. Beans & almost everyone else are flowering. Cukes & zukes are in the immediate pre-bloom stage.

It is kind of a garden - I have herbs (from last year) that I grow in the kitchen window that are doing quite well. Therefore, I don't plan on growing them in my outdoors garden this summer.

So today, my indoor garden provided me with parsley and basil for my dinner's spaghetti sauce.

My green beans are finally coming in. It's crazy how different they taste when you eat them within minutes of picking them compared to getting them "fresh" from the grocery store.

Tomatoes are starting to come in, but not ready yet.

Pumpkins and squash are just getting started; I look forward to September and October.

Strawberries and carrots did virtually nothing as usual. Weeds and rabbits teamed up to stop me there.

I have tiny green tomatoes, green strawberries and lots of blooms on the bell peppers & cucumbers. Hope when I get back home end of the week I can pick something.
