Thank you, Doug. I think someone made a mistake on the chill hour map too. I am in Palmdale and I'd tell ya, it's cold up here! There's at least 12 hour where temp is below 45 degrees. There's got to be a lot more then 200 chill hours here.

I GUARANTEE you there is! Even Phoenix, which is warmer than Palmdale, gets around 400 hrs of chill. That's enough chill to grow some apples (Anna), some peaches. Lots of citrus here, but they don't require a chill period. I'd guess Palmdale is too cold for citrus.
