I would need to go out and find some dirt. I noticed it was drenched so I tossed out the wet dirt in case it had bacteria. I am thinking of putting it where the other potatoes are that are doing good.

Can this guy be saved? How many potatoes do you think it will produce? I am leaving it out to dry out

I've grown potatoes before but it was always in the compost pile which is quite small this year. SO I tried to grow it in a dresser we turned over and are using as a plantar. You'd never know it was an old, very old, dresser.

No. It looks beyond redemption, I wouldn't bother with trying to save it. I'd throw it into the compost pile and let it take it's chances.

If you're using your dresser as a planter I hope the dresser has some drainage holes drilled into it.
