Squash bugs. And believe me I've been squashin' them alright. They loved my zucchini to death, then my watermelon and now my pumpkins.

Spider Mites! They take over so fast, you have to have a good eye to spot them.

The neighbor's cat...uses my flower beds as a litter box. How's one to work in them after that? Yuk. Besides, the digging dislodges plants.

Good neighbor. Bad cat.

Horse radish, I planted a root to see what the plant looked like and now I cannot get rid of it. Herbicides are out of the question, I only run an organic garden and have been organic for over 16 years.

Slugs, for sure! They can be controlled, but it's a real pain. I hear the ones up there in the NW are so big, you can practically saddle up and ride 'em?

wild rabbits,I catch a couple of them in my yard on some nights eating my cactus, the cactus has no spines on it so they love it,but I just let them be,I feel sorry for them knowing it may be their last meal untill the coyotes get them,I also see the coyotes roaming around the subdivision often.

Didn't realize that was so easy to grow. Friend warned me about peppermint in a garden taking over everything. She thought wisconsin winter would kill it but it was tougher than winter.

Squirrels! I hate those little buggers. I wouldn't begrudge them having a snack or two, but they'll walk along the row of tomatoes or whatever, and take ONE BITE from the veggie and then move to the next one.

I never used to hate squirrels before moving to Kansas, but they're all over the place here and now I hate the little bastards with a passion as deep as the fiery pits of Hades...

Deer aggravate me the most. I have to put cages around everything I plant.
