Not all German people have a sterotyped German look. Consider Bavaria where most natives are darker haired and shorter. Elizabeth II's family tree has a tremendous amount of German heritage in it. She doesn't have to be a blond or have other "typical" features to fill the bill.

Never heard that one at all,that's a new one. Since my mother's people were Magyars, and when you think about Tamerlane,Genghis Khan and his invading hordes, it's more likely that I would be related to Attila the Hun or old Genghis than Elizabeth is related to some chinese emperor.

Actually, while Elizabeth's hair darkened as she became an adult, it was light blonde when she was a child, a trait which was passed along to her daughter Anne and granddaughters Zara Phillips and Lady Louise Windsor (with reinforcement from Prince Philip and Louise's mother, Sophie, Countess of Essex).
I believe the Queen is of average height - perhaps she has lost an inch or two over the years, but photos of her with other people taken in her youth show her to be about the same height as the majority of the women of her age.
