We are moving to States from other side of the world and we need help in choosing city to live in. Checking out and comparing different cities thru internet is very difficult. We know what we want for the city we want to move:
- Good public transportation
- Easy to get around walking (shops, restaurant, nightlife)
- We prefer warm weather so no cold and snow (we get these enough where we are from )
- We'd like to have sea near us (maybe max. 45min away from home)
- Low tax rate is a very big +
- City should have over 500 000 people so no small towns unless it's close to a bigger city and easy to get there
Is there a city which would have all of these ?
No, short answer is no city in the USA would meet every single one of these requirements. Redo your list ranking each item by order of importance and repost for a better list of suggestions.
It would also be very helpful if you could define what you mean by a few things, such as what you mean by good public transportation, how cold is too cold, is some snow okay or must it never ever snow, and what do you consider a low tax rate. What kind of taxes do you care about to be low - sales tax, property tax, income tax or all of them? What will your budget for housing be?
The cities that match the closest with your list without taking budget into consideration would be LA, San Diego, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, Houston and maybe San Francisco.
If you REALLY like hot and humid weather, as in - hot and humid, so humid you cut that humidity with knife - sure, do Alabama and Tennessee or Georgia. Wild guess will be Louisiana is not much different as it has a lot of swamps. I sort of know as I lived and worked in AL and TN and drove through GA many times.
But, in TN there is a hidden gem. Gutlinberg. Beautiful continental climate. Not close to ocean though.
Oh, and don't forget a minuscule weather phenomenon very common in quite a few of those states mentioned to you - TORNADOES AND HURRICANES.

Gatlinburg. It's in the mountains. Absolutely nowhere near the ocean nor does it have 500,000 residents. It's a tourist mecca. Travel can be difficult in autumn. And in winter there are plenty of roads shut down do to weather.
Not even sure where the 1% would find all of the items on the OP's list. Then again if you can afford a mansion on the sea, you can afford someone to chauffeur your butt around so public transit isn't an issue. Very RARE to have public transit by the ocean here since oceanfront is far from cheap!.
Laguna Beach has a free bus during the summer months. But wait, it doesn't really have 500,000 people. It only seems like it.
It doesn't meet the 500,000 people mark, but it's low tax, near the ocean, has DASH trolleys, plenty of nightlife, and it's in a warm climate.
