Does anyone out there know of a service to come and help guide me with what to do with the rooms..decorating; organizing my stuff; emptying boxes from move in; hanging pictures artistically etc. Getting the house attractively liveable.

I don't know, if you figure it out let me know, lol. We have always had to just dig in and do it..don't even know if there is a service like that unless you hire an organizer or decorator..

Fix the house up to suit yourself. You don't need advice or help to do that.

Since when is there a service to help you unpack?

You can hire an interior decorator.

Some home improvement stores provide custom closet organization - but you still have put your own clothes in it!

Decorating and placement of pictures could be done by the decorator. I know there are some moving companies that will put your items in boxes for you so maybe they would unpack too.Its expensive though. I know when I had to get help with some heavy items in my new place but it was not a full move I found someone on craigslist. I am not a fan of people going through my belongings. Everyone is different though.

Ask your realtor, they should have someone they work with to design your home or if you rent to stage it for a while and even get rental furniture and even nice art pieces (get ready to dish out the dough!).

I think the best part of moving into a new place is the organizing and decorating. I would hate to give that joy to someone else.
