Funny a city named CHARLOTTE would be named most manly! Oh the irony!

Not only that, but the survey conducted by Combos? Combos is one of the primary sponsors of the #18 Kyle Busch drives in Nascar and Kyle is arguably the biggest crybaby in the sports world today.

Someone should do a woman's version, but I don't know what you'd call it. Calling a city "effeminate" could sound like an insult. Ladylike?

I guess one difficulty is that in some cases a woman being called "manly" or "macho" can almost be a compliment. Calling a man "feminine" is pretty much always an insult, well unless he's a drag-queen. So I guess calling a city "manly" doesn't necessarily insult or demean its women, although it might a little, but calling a city "feminine" would insult/demean its men.

Oakland is a city of HUGE contrast. To be frank a large part of the city will actually remind you of Portland, Oregon and there are many parts of East Oakland that look like Compton.

Yeah, a city called Charlotte and nicknamed "The Queen City" being the manliest is funny. All the street signs have a crown logo on them. Don't get me wrong, Charlotte is a nice town.

That Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Sacramento are ALL on the Bottom 10 of this list is also funny. Is it based on hot tubs per capita?

I always assume it would be Western, independent and outdoorsy...like Denver, or some other city in the Intermountain West.
