I'm female, 36, left of center politically but also pro-gun and anti-illegal immigration. I work in I.T. and am a vegetarian. I want to live somewhere with a good job market and decent cost of living.

I'm open to any and all suggestions except the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii. Fire away!

Check out Indianapolis, Richmond and Cleveland. All three are seeing diversified growth and have a progressive vibe....yet aren't full out liberal either.

You should probably stay in Texas. But Arizona could be a nice change.

Actually, Burlington Vermont may work for you, but the COL is up there. Perhaps a Southern college town would work.

Dallas looks good on paper but sucks in reality. I can't stand the people here.
