Typical uptight northeasterners. I find the women in the Bo-Wash corridor cold and puritanical, so I'm not surprised by this at all. Texas and West Coast girls always wanna have fun and are not afraid of getting dirty!
And I don't consider Pittsburgh the northeast, IMO. Not looking for a regional debate but I'd say their quite Midwestern in attitude and demeanor.

There's no way Seattle should be that high on the list. They don't even speak to each other outside of work, much less have sex - thus the Seattle Freeze.
Instead of looking at oatmeal consumption for clues, the "researchers" might check the stats for more relevant numbers such contraceptive use per capita.

As paradoxical as it may seem, the Seattle Freeze may be the very thing that correlates high levels of promiscuity in Seattle (not to be confused with real intamacy). Let's not forget all the single young gay men that live in Seattle which is no doubt a very big factor in levels of promiscuity there as well. It's rather a silly list, considering, as the article says: "OkCupid told the HuffPost it all ties back to the percentage of users in each city who list "Casual Sex" as one of the relationship types they seek."
I fail to see why people on this one small website who say they're looking for "casual sex" means that more people in those towns are having "casual sex." If they're having it, would they really be on a website looking for it?
This list is BS, Portland has the highest percentage of virgins.
