Downtown Denver has about 23,000,000 Sq. Ft. of Office space. Downtown Houston easily has twice as much office space as that.
I won't even go into the super tall comparisons.
Plus, it has 3 sports venues (Astros, Rockets, and Dynamo) and the second largest theater District in the US. Also, there are multiple projects that are just finished, or about to break ground that will make it even larger.
I'm not talking about office space. I'm talking about land area. They're both 1.53 Square Miles, hardly small. Downtown Denver also has the 2nd largest performing arts complex in the US and 3 sporting venues near by (and many more attractions). Plus, it's a lot more happening and vibrant than Downtown Houston, honestly.

Uptown Houston alone is as large as Downtown Denver.
A thread that has nothing to do with Houston becomes all about Houston. Why? Because some have the adaucity to be honest about their first impressions of the place.

Actually, the current discussion involving Houston began when someone said Denver had a small downtown. Get some glasses.

But my point is that Downtown Houston and Downtown Denver are the same size in land area, therefore Downtown Denver isn't as small as that poster claimed it to be. Plus, Uptown Houston isn't even a continuous urban center. Isn't residential housing included in what's considered to be the Uptown area?
P.S. I'm not a Houston hater (My second favorite city in the US). Just correcting.
How about you start a thread about Houston and don't hijack other threads to talks about your pet topic?
No need to start a thread about Houston, since trolls are starting one or two every week. I'll continue to protest whatever I feel like and you'll continue to deal with it.
the looks of the environment from houston through north florida all the way close through coastal south carolina looks pretty similar with pine trees, live oaks and spanish moss, marsh lands, beaches...none of it gets quite as tropical and lush as south florida though... more of a pine tree/live oak mixture lushness.
