A city that is not near a river, low in elevation, or close to an ocean.

I guess you could say somewhere in Iowa would be a pretty good bet (far from the Mississippi) ... I mean this state is basically a large veggie garden outside of the cities/towns when you think about it.

Yep. I was under the impression they were going to fix the "problem" not just repair it. According to Bushy, he stated many times the cities' levee system would be completely overhauled. Who knows, maybe they are doing that.

None of the American cities or any other cities on Earth will survive that long if the Second Coming of Christ were to occur tomorrow.

OH WHATEVER! My old neighborhood was under water four months ago and our basements all flooded, and we all joked about it even though people lost thousands of dollars. My friends from new orleans all joke about it in a kind hearted way, and some of their families lost homes. Its not 9/11, it was a natural disaster waiting to happen, nowhere near the scale and loss of life of the tsunami. They make jokes in movies about earthquakes and tornadoes, why is that not offensive? Lighten up.

I find YOU inappropriate and your easily being offended (even though ur not from new orleans im assuming yet still offened?) offensive. Lighten up dude.

I'm sorry but the Mississippi river makes a border in Iowa. If this is a trick question, then perhaps a religious city outside the US ?
