In Tacoma, these are some of the main ones that I think will intensify the pulse of the city.

Sacramento has the new Kings Arena (Golden 1 Center) downtown... Golden 1 Center

There is also the railyards project being built Railyards - Downtown Sacramento Partnership and an MLS soccer stadium supposedly underway

Colorado Springs has a program to repave the streets and fix the pot holes. That's nice since currently you can hit 1 every half block or so and knock out your front end! We'd do better with dirt streets.

We do have this initiative that the mayor is pushing: http://www.cityforchampions.com/

We can and should be doing much more for a city this size.

Greensboro is seeing a ton of downtown development projects that include a large mixed use development (retail/residential), a new ballpark, two new luxury hotels (Hyatt and Wyndham), a new performing arts center, new college campus expansions and a massive new urban park.

Actually, we have and we are. C4C is only one piece of a very large set of projects and it is only a piece within a bigger Olympic project as well, it is just the most visible and controversial.

Red Rocks Open Space, complete.
Southern Delivery System-water pipeline, almost complete.
South Central Downtown/Lowell School area, almost complete.
Gold Hill Mesa, partial but not complete.
Copper Ridge in Northgate, partial but not complete.
City Auditorium Block, partial but not complete.
North Nevada area, partial but not complete.
Lincoln School Project, started.
Legacy Loop Trail, started.
Community Mural Projects, not started yet.
City Gate/southwest downtown, not started yet.
South Nevada Redevelopment Plan, not started yet.
Storm Water Enterprise, started, killed, re-approved, not re-started yet.
