I was wandering if you meant Seattle in the summer and maybe Berkeley in the fall?
From what I know, Seattle is not as sunny or warm (over 70) outside summer. Correct me if I'm wrong
Fall in Seattle is pretty amazing. Cooler, crisp weather with little to no rain.
Fall - New York City
Winter - Los Angeles
Spring - Washington, D.C.
Summer - Portland, Maine
I came to pretty much say this. DC and NYC can have bad winters and summers, but Spring is beautiful in DC and the Fall is beautiful in NY (or anywhere in the North East). I prefer Winter in Florida, but SoCal is great too.

I almost put Florida for my Winter choice. I also like Arizona for Winter too. The Palm Springs area is pretty awesome for Winter as well.
Here is the thing about Fall in Seattle. It is usually split up between Early Fall (beautiful), and Late Fall (miserable) Almost like clockwork, the dividing line is within a week of October 15th.
November and December have more precipitation than January and February. This seems to be a constant, as the worst winter weather in Seattle occurs before new year's day. This is quite different than most of the continental US.
