There is nothing wrong with moving around and trying different places especially when you are young and haven't got any roots. Not near as optimal when you have family obligations.
I wouldn't move out of Southern California if you quadrupled my salary and gave me $1M cash. I'm not kidding.
Cool, if they don't quadruple your salary, you might need to rent a pod, like some are doing, who choose to live in California. Sounds amazing...you'd have to rent a bunk bed for every member in your family, though, as it's only a twin bed.
I don't want to move out of the Bronx but I'm concerned about being forced out due to gentrification.
