I wouldn't move out of Southern California if you quadrupled my salary and gave me $1M cash. I'm not kidding.

Well, yeah. I only get one life, I want it to be as interesting as possible. Relocating every year or so at my company is a negative for most people, but not for me.

I wouldn't, either. But I would buy a bigger house.

There is nothing wrong with moving around and trying different places especially when you are young and haven't got any roots. Not near as optimal when you have family obligations.

Cool, if they don't quadruple your salary, you might need to rent a pod, like some are doing, who choose to live in California. Sounds amazing...you'd have to rent a bunk bed for every member in your family, though, as it's only a twin bed.

I don't want to move out of the Bronx but I'm concerned about being forced out due to gentrification.
