I was wondering why there were so many Dallas picks. I understand now that it came from the Texas forum. The polling is heavily biased towards Dallas and partially biased towards Chicago.

To make it fair. Pictures of the other skylines should be posted.

Actually, I think they're all nice in one way or another, but Hong Kong really is "something else."

I don't like the neon outlines on the Dallas buildings. Or that ball building. I just think they look tacky.

Hong Kong has the neon but they pull it off well, unlike Dallas.

Houston has a nice skyline with a few unique buildings. I think that's why two of them were featured here

About Dallas, THANK YOU! I didn't want to say anything, but the neon and ball thing reminds me of some of the absurd architecture in Shanghai. NYC is impressive, but not as picture postcard as Chicago, from the outside. NYC is just a big mass of buildings with no rhyme or reason. I think NYC's skyline is more impressive from inside Central Park. Imho.
