I never claimed to live in sacramento. mod cut: name calling edited
And SF is 85% kerry, not 69% Dallas was 75% Dallas liberals are still pro-business and understand basic economics.
So where is Sarmento, California? no such place
I already posted "official" polling numbers that indicate Kerry won 69% of votes in San Francisco [the highest in the nation}. Your statement is false & you know it since you refuse to cite\link your claim.
Apparently so........ As you can see, this turned into another Texas vs. California thing, which is sad because this is about cities that are similar in some way.
That's the point! Comparing any Texas city to California cities is ridiculous since there is no comparison [Austin & San Francisco is like comparing Memphis & New York City - nothing alike

So you just ignore the small things that I mentioned in the first post......? That's fine, but like I said.... It's just a post.
I'll try to ignore the middle-school antics of Happ and offer something along the original topic:
Portland, OR - Denver, CO. I'd like to make comparisons between cities that aren't in states that are adjacent or nearly so, but region plays a huge influence on the setting and culture. Denver is obviously more mountainous, but both areas are traditionally free-spirited/granolas who like their urbanness but also enjoy a good nature playground.
Flagstaff, AZ and Bend, OR. High desert climate, elevation, growing smaller cities that sort of dominate their little regions of their respective states.
Texas and California could drop off into the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean, respectively, and the rest of the country wouldn't blink. At least I wouldn't.
That's because there wouldn't be much of a country left to blink.
Austin is better in so many ways than the city of SF it's unbelievable. Cleaner, hotter looking people, much better music/nightlife, prettier other than the ocean. Nobody wants to live in a dirty, AIDS-infested place where everyone holds idiotic beliefs. San Jose >>>>SF and is where all the smart techies from Stanford/Berkeley end up, not irrelevant SF.
WOW!!! NEW AND EXCITING!!! YOU MUST BE ON TO SOMETHING!! WE SAN FRANCISCANS HAVE NEVER HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE!!!!

You never see Californians comparing themselves to Texans because that would be a distortion of the truth. Face it, Texas is a big fat nothing state that gave the world George Bush [enough said
