We recently moved from Wichita, KS and I am surprised at how much I miss it. The cost of living is low, the temperature is great and they have a wonderful school system. I wish I still lived there.

I've lived in Anchorage for a while, and not only is it beautiful but there is a lot to do in the city. You just have to know where to look. There are a lot of great places to eat downtown, and a lot of outdoor things to do in the area. Its near some of the greatest national parks in the country and ive its always interesting.

Why are there so many people on this board from Omaha that constantly want to gloat about their city as though anyone cares?
I was thinking the same thing as the above posters, from the sound of it Omaha is going to be the next Phoenix and one of the fastest growing in the nation and I've never heard a word about it outside of this forum.I dont see anything special about the place. Everyone from Omaha on here must be members of the Chamber of Commerce.

I love my city and I like to tell people about it so they don't think my city is some redneck town in Nebraska!f
And, my city is actually doing well and is growing with a very powerful economy, compared to Indianapolis which is growing slllllloooooooooooowwwwwwlllllllllyyyyyyyyyy and Albuquerque, which is over shadowed by Phoenix and hardly has a Skyline to even note
