Stealing.

I suppose it's college football but then again, you don't see fishing jerseys in the supermarket.

Baseball. Can't walk far without seeing Mets and Yankees caps.

Let's go Mets!

NFL football is big too. The Giants and Jets fan bases are huge. Poor big blue (sorry tahiti).

Being in Texas I bet you think I'm going to say Football. Well, it's not. It's Baseball. Victoria's only high school is the biggest high school in Texas, yet the football team always sucks. Last year, the University of Houston-VIctoria fielded a baseball team for the fist time, and they went 32-6, managed by ex-Astro star Terry Puhl. This year, Victoria will have a team in the collegiate summer league, featuring top players from major college baseball programs getting in extra playing time. Local organizers have their eye set on a future entry in one of the professional independent leagues. The Victoria Rosebuds were once in the Texas league, when it was a top minor league including Dallas and Houston (before they were in MLB), and one year in the 40's won the Texas League championship. Two former major league stars, Ron Gant and Doug Drabek are from Victoria.

Football (Cowboys), then probably basketball (Mavericks) and Hockey (Stars) as the Texas Rangers are perennial losers.
