Not the best of times in NC right now.. Jobs are hard to come by and times are hard right now....However..I am seeking out recent transplants that have made the move from NC/Southeast to the west coast....Are you happy with your decision? Are you having a difficult time where you are.......Do you wish you had stayed where you are... Please weigh in on this discussion... I need to hear from other people who have made the move...

I read the other day that the unemployment rates decreased in 99 of NC's 100 Counties in the recent data. I know that the Triangle in particular is stronger than every other region of the state. Isn't the unemployment rate even higher in CA, OR and (possibly) WA?

The strong areas aren't on either coast, rather the Midwest. East coast to West coast (and vice versa) equals pot to frying pan.
