I'm bout to move to Atlanta Georgia but I'm trying to avoid living directly in Atlanta i was wondering do u know of any safe neighborhoods around Atlanta for a lesbian couple with small children our safety is more important than anything i want a area my kids can play outside without worrying about getting shot or teased about having lesbian parents preferably in a good school zone

The very first place that comes to mind is the small
very -liberal suburban-like urban village-like City of Decatur.
Try reposting this question in the Atlanta Forum which also covers issues of areas around and outside of Atlanta (the larger area known as Metro Atlanta) and has much more web traffic and you are much more likely to receive more replies to your question.
