It's sad that a few misguided people had to ruin it for the whole organization.
In other words, there may be some truth in the rumors that ACORN might have been invoved in some level of hankie-pankie? Confirmation from another ex-employee?
Also, people seem to think that ALL ACORN does is voter registration. That's a very small part.
I truly hope the amazing work ACORN has done is not completely obscured by a few people who used the work of the organization to meet their own goals.
Since this is my thread, I remind readers that I just wanted to learn more of what ACORN was all about. And, I can say, regarding your post, that I did NOT know this about ACORN. So I'm better off now.
Though given the recent posts by saganista, perhaps I shouldn't believe anyone anymore? Given that each of our posts are a sort of mini-blog, and we're all biased as heck, well... what do we do with any new posted info?
Anyhow, I'm gonna take your good info as probably reliable. I tend to trust people, 'ceptin' some rowdy combative Europeans...
