I was wondering that myself,lol...but to answer yet another sex offender question, my answer is NO. They cannot be "reformed". Why put myself in that position?
Wouldn't date any type of offender....bank robber, murderer, theif, etc.
the key is offender.
Why in the world with all the millions of single people would someone choose to date an offender? Don't they have enough to deal with without selecting someone with baggage?
I am a male and I have never been a Sex Offender------convicted or otherwise.
Now: if I met up with, say, a 45 YOU woman who had been busted for statutory 'rape' at age 19 for being with a 16 YO guy-------I would not hold that against her.
In fact: I was almost that '16 YO kid' back in 1974 when a 19 YO woman definitely made her intentions clear Just for 'some reason' I backed off. Hindsight being 20/20; I may have been better off dating this gal......things happen for a reason.
Now a true child molester-------even if she were a 'hottie'-------NO WAY!
I agree with the above posters, it depends on the charges. However, I would be very cautious even with those known. I would never ever ever date a rapist or child molester or any true criminal at all.
I wouldn't consider dating someone with that kind of background.
