i bought some recently and was surprised at the quality! it was nicer than i expected. but usually i use what is being known as "family cloth" and its pretty mush just a little washcloth or sewn material and you throw it in a wetbag and wash them. its really not as gross as it sounds and you get much cleaner. i also cloth diaper so they just get thrown in the wash with the diapers.

Nope. I buy the brand that gives you the most for the money, if someone else wants something else just because of a design or whatever else, they can buy it. Look at the sheet count on the rolls and do the numbers with the price.

I buy the toilet paper that has the least chemicals and colorants since I have a septic system. I don't care if it's recycled or not because toilet paper is manufactured from trees. Tress are renewable. I live in a state where forestry industries support our economy and our conservation programs. Don't be afraid of toilet paper.

I buy Eco friendly toilet specifically the White Cloud. If you go to their website they have a coupon you can print for a dollar off. We buy the 4 roll pack and its a 2 adult household and work full time and it lasts a month, 1 roll a week. Here in San Antonio, the 4 roll pack is $2.78 at Wal Mart and with the dollar off coupon, it's $1.78. I have tried other brands but they have been more expensive and don't last as long. Angel Soft is awful in terms of longevity! Seventh Generation is much more expensive at 90 cents a roll while White Cloud is 45 cents a roll.

I saw a website that ranked the "septic friendliness" of different toilet papers and if I recall correctly Northern and Angel Soft topped the list.

I'll just plant some extra seedlings to make up for my CHOICE to use soft toilet paper. Is that green enough?

As long as its white and it has 1000 sheets and is on sale, or has a coupon, I'm buying it.
