Hi everyone,
I read a lot of the posts on this board before posting one myself. Let me first say - I'm a Yankee from Maryland. However, I did attend school in NC for my freshman year so I am not entirely new to "southern living". My husband is considering interviewing with a company in Greensboro...we know more about the Raleigh area and don't know a whole lot about Greensboro. Hopefully you can help...what are some good neighborhoods that are filled with lots of young children? Our ideal neighborhood would be one where kids are outside playing all day, neighbors watch out for eachother, and kids are safe camping out in the backyards during the summer.
We'd also really like a neighborhood that has a swim/tennis club too.
We have a 1 year old who we want to raise to care about others and who can be a kid. Up here Moms are already talking about kindergarten admissions at private schools before the poor things even turn 1!
