My husband and I are looking at relocating from Minnesota to North Carolina.
We have two children, ages 13 and 10 and aren't sure of where the good schools are.
I work in Probation/Parole and would like to stay in the field.
Where are good areas are to live? We're looking at a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house and don't want to live in a bad part of town, but need something affordable.
In Greensboro and Guilford County, the best schools are in the northwest part of the city and county. Look at zip codes 27455, 27408 and 27410. Oak Ridge and Summerfield (nw Guilford County) are also good areas.
We are also thinking of moving from Minnesota to No. Carolina. Was in Charlotte for a week and fell in love. Our situation is different-both retired. The move will bring us closer to our family. You will NOT be disappointed.
