Hi, I accepted a job offer in Hight point so me my wife and my 8 month old son are moving next month. We are from Canada, me and the wife are asians(Philippines) and we are looking for a place to rent that are safe for my wife and son to walk around in the neighborhood during the day and drive around at night. Also, we like a place or area where you see asian people or with mix races(hipanic, Indian Asian, Asian) in the mall, driving, walking, living in the area and friendly and safe neighborhood. This will feel, for us, that we are welcome and not the only Asian living in the area. We will be coming down to high point first week of August and drive around the city to find places to rent. If someone can help us find/recommend places in and around high point/Greensboro/Winston-Salem new or fairly new apartments I really appreciate it.
Please give me an idea of the size of the apartment you'll be looking for and what you are willing to pay in rent. There are several lovely complexes in the North High Point area that could meet your criteria but please give me a few more specifics. We've been looking at them for our son so have some idea of what is avaliable out there. We love North High Point and find it to be culturally diverse and it feels as safe as possible these days.
I am looking for 1 or 2 bedroom about $600 to $800. Also looking for an apartment with pool or tennis court or basketball court or gym. I'll be working in the southeast of high point.
