ME, my wife, and our 19 month son are moving to nc to raise our family probably at the end of this year ... we currently live and have grew up 20 mins outside of cleveland ohio and we are just tired of the weather and ready for a change .... My main concern is crime and schools ive narrowed where i want to live in NC down to winston - salem, greensboro, maybe even raliegh but winston salem and greensboro are 8 hours out of cleveland and are perfect for me driving distance to see family ..... ive read alot about ws and greensboro and everyone is mixed ..... i found a house in greensboro on lonita street .... how would the schools be and the crime be on the east side of greensboro..... if its bad give me some suggestions.... i would be transfering to a home depot in either city, and my wife would transfer to wachovia so work isnt an issue..... ill consider suburbs right now we live in a really nice sub of cleveland so i know all cities have somewhere nice around them.... thanks

West side is definetly your best bet in moving to Greensboro. Low crime, Best schools in the city, just a nice place in general to live especially since you have kids! We just moved to Greensboro about 2 months ago so i'm probally not the best person to ask, because i don't know to much myself. But going by word of mouth and my own experiences west side is definetly a good choice i'm sure you'll like it
