Question Suggestions for Gift Shopping?

Any suggestions for gift shops selling great gifts in the Winston-Salem area? Having fun, handmade items available is a huge plus!

The Arts District in downtown W-S is a must!!!!! Several neat and/or funky shops with hand-made items.

Piedmont Craftsmen (corner of 6th and Trade) has a wide price range and very high quality craftmanship. Its juried members are from all over southeastern US.

Haven't had a chance to go downtown yet, but I was able to pick up a few great gifts at the Cricket's Nest. Hadn't been in there in years, but they've got some things.

Here's their website for location/hours--the pictures aren't representative of what the store looked like this week.

Custom made stained glass items can be great gifts. Custom Stained Glass or http://artmushroom.com will be good for that. ArtMushroom was planning on opening a store in Greensboro but sadly can't anymore.
