Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone on here knows of any Buddhist locations in the Greensboro area. I am looking into my spirituality, and I need to know more about it, and would like to learn more. Thanks for your help and guidance!
Long time! Here is an article (http://www.news-record.com/content/2007/10/07/article/simply_letting_go - broken link) that will be of interest to you. It also lists Buddhist temples in Greensboro.

It sure has been a while, hasn't it? Thanks for the link, I totally appreciate it. Can't wait to read it!
There are two Buddhist temples in Greensboro. One is Cambodian/Thai/Laos Theravada Buddhism with two American monks on campus. One is Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhism.
I have heard from two different sources, one saying the Vietnamese temple has a monk who speaks English, and the other saying no one speaks English there. I only met one monk there and he couldn't speak English. The Vietnamese temple is at 1410 Glendale Drive. And the Theravada temple is at 2715 Liberty Road.
I don't know the phone number to the Vietnamese temple, but the Theravada temple is 336.272.6297, at the temple house.
Kinda wierd seeing a reference to an article written on me from several years ago.
Funny, I lived in Thailand as a child. Kinda makes me wonder if there was some kind of influence there?
I think I will go check out the Theraveda Temple first - got family coming in a couple days though!
It must be nice to know that you are having a positive influence on others, even years after the fact, from such a simple thing.
does anyone know if the Therevadan temple is still there and if anyone there speaks English? Or any info on temples or groups in winston-Salem or closer than GB?
My daughter wants to study buddism and is having trouble finding a place to join with kids her own age. Any assistance on this would be helpful. Thanks
