I think I totaled up 9-10 total pizza joints in a 5 mile radius of five forks the other day when I was counting. but your right I want some more variety I'm getting really sick of zaxbys and arbys at the only options.
So true!! Do we really need 3 Sherwin Williams locations with 5 minutes of each other?? 10 pizza places that taste the same, Arbys and McDonald's....whoppie
USNRet04 - Not very polite to question the veracity of my info like that. Where I get it may be confidential but you just wait and watch. Then you can apologize. Thanks.
Googling the name (Chris La Mack) listed on the zoning hearing page. It looks like the property might be developed by Gemini Real Estate Advisors. They have no properties in SC, but most of their properties in NC contain grocery stores including Food Lion, Lowes Food and Kroger. Let the speculation begin.

3672 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681-4353
Upstate Business Journal (Volume 4, Issue 12, page 2015-03-20) reports:
Quote:
Word is Food Lion has a contract to build a 45,000-square-foot grocery store with a gas station on 14 acres at East Woodruff Road and Lee Vaughn Road. The property hinges on County Council approving a major change to the county's planned zoning.
Greenville County does not have an East Woodruff Road.
Food Lion is selling the property. Why would it bother constructing a new store when it has failed in the Greenville County market?
A 45,000 square feet supermarket with a drive through pharmacy and a gas station would define a Walmart Neighborhood Market store.
Greenville Journal reported last week that Food Lion is seeking zoning change for property at Lee Vaughn and Woodruff.
