I'll have to take a look at Tablefield's, thanks. Should I believe the post about Twisted Kitchen? I didn't realize there was a Carolina Ale House on Woodruff; we've eaten at the one downtown and have been to the ones around here a few times. That place is always good. I was thinking more of a place that was more unique to Greenville, though. Thanks for all of the suggestions other than the Taco Bell, pizza one.
We ended up having lunch at Tablefield's, and it was great! Thanks for the suggestion.
I want to add, as well, that the service was very good. I don't generally gravitate to places where you order at the counter; I serve all the meals at home, so I like to be served in a restaurant. However, the food and prices made up for that. In addition, my husband spilled my son'e potato chips, and although my son said it was fine, in about two minutes a staff member was at the table with a whole new plate of chips.
