Would Haywood Mall benefit from a sit down soda shop/ice cream parlor?

Carolina... I'm letting AtlFan do all my locations right now. I'd want it closer to the east side, personally, but it's his idea. Wherever he says it goes, it goes....(grin)

That strip ctr. has always been a revolving door for businesses. Nothing seems to find a permanent home there and some pretty decent formats have made valiant attempts. Not a bad location and the building isn't terrible. Not sure why it has always struggled so much.

There was a time when most malls had an ice cream parlor. Usually Bressler's or Baskin-Robins.

Until they relocated, Portofino's and Papa John's did a lot of business.

The little Thai restaurant also made a long term go of it. Portofinos is a favorite and I miss them being so close by. The rest of the spaces have had pretty high vacancy rates from failed tenants.... Especially the restaurant space on the other end, opposite where Portofinos was.
