Hey y'all - I'm glad the pictures are helpful - I'd wondered myself how rolling the hills were, how near to the closest mountain range we'd be and that sort of thing and just didn't find all that much imagery online to help me...the answer of course is dependent on the particular town, but the region itself is full of wonderful variances in terrain.
I don't have very many pictures that don't have one of the three of us in them, so what I can offer in the way of 'less personal' is shown here. As I find any more I'll put 'em up.
Also, G**gle up the Traveler's Rest home page - one of the links will display some visibly descriptive pictures toward the bottom, including 'snow'...
BTW, Greenville does not roll up the sidewalk at 6pm.
These first three are of Falls Park, which is downtown.
The next few are of downtown (although i dont have any pics of main street) and the the new baseball stadium for the Single-A Greenville Drive. The indoor picture is O-cha tea bar, a neat place on main street that serves bubble tea, coffee, etc.
This is just some picture i took from the top of a parking garage. You can see the mountains, awesome...
I had to walk away and let the computer sweat awhile...
Keep 'em coming, folks!
