There is a place in downtown greenville on South Main Street. It is called Rocks and Ropes. I have never been inside but through the window it looks nice. Here is the website. Rocks and Ropes Climbing Gym

This Website lists every county in SC that has rock climbing facilities, there location, and brief info. South Carolina Rock Climbing Walls and Gyms

I have been trying to get into rock climbing as-well, but I haven't made it very far yet.
Good luck

Yeah, Rocks and Ropes was moving to a larger place. I really liked their downtown location...but I imagine it's nice have more room. I haven't heard much about it but it looks like they haven't quite got everything set up yet. Should be re-opening soon.
