GSP airport now at 3rd wettest (22.74”) winter on record, next weeks rain (which will hopefully clear road salt off) may bump us into 1rst (last winter holds top spot).

Meteorological Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) ends with GSP airport at: 2nd wettest winter (missing 1rst place by less then tenth of an inch, 0.9” snow, & about 3 degrees above average temps. Trees are blooming & not seeing any snow chances right now (March on average is our 4th snowiest month).

I am done with this winter - the forecast calls for DAYS of more rain this week!
A pet peeve of mine is rain with a temp in 30's that is bone-chilling/soul-sucking - we've had days upon days of this weather - MUCH rather have snow (pretty/bounces off of you) or just a mild rain
I'm looking to move to SW FL (no really) - my cold tolerance has plummeted in my older age (still like snow) - if it's going to be hot/humid (and I anticipate this will start sometime in May), I'd much rather live near a beautiful beach

Goodbye and thanks for playing is my initial thought. I don't understand why people come on this forum to say they are leaving for one reason or another. Just leave quietly with some dignity, imo.

That's okay. He or she will be back after the first hurricane or algae bloom. We live in the best area in the country! That said, sw Florida sounds pretty good, for a visit. We love Pass-a-Grille.
