Jimmy Johns - Coming to Mauldin area. Apparently 8 weeks from opening. Couldn't get exact location, but was told they are remodeling an old Subway location near Butler. Anyone know of a vacated Subway in that area?
The old Subway burned earlier this year along with the Chinese place in that strip mall. That land has been cleared for a few weeks now. Great Clips used to be next to this Subway then the Chinese place and maybe something else by the driveway.
I heard someone talking about the new Subway. When they started gutting the old Main St. Diner the Subway sign was laying on the side of the building. They have done a lot of work on that building. Added brick on the outside. I assumed the convo I heard was referring to that building. Would Subway and Jimmy John's share a building? I sure wouldn't think so and I'm not so sure JJ's would build on this side of Mauldin anyway.
Garlington Station (Woodruff & Garlington Road) - Five Guys likely for the old Monterrey Mexican Food place. Another mattress store (Mattress Firm) for the street facing spot where the old Sleep Super Mattress store was. Oriental House still under a lease, rates going up 3X for the strip center remodel.

My idea; totally. The noted building is much bigger than the old Subway was. I find it hard to believe only one business is going in there.
As I said earlier, I doubt JJ's is coming to this side of Mauldin but we sure would like it to.
