While not brand new, I don't think this was ever mentioned. But Pita Mediterranean Street Food opened like 6 months ago on Woodruff. Its in the little strip mall with GNC in it. Its a small chain out of Atlanta. Its quickly turned into one of my go to spots for take out. Definitely the best Gyro I've had here in Greenville.
Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard of it, at least not to my recent memory. While I am very partial to Pita House, it's nice to have this option when I am on Woodruff Rd. I haven't had baklava cheesecake for years, and that alone will get me to try them.
How were the prices??
Will try after the New Year...I am NOT going down Woodruff, made the mistake the other day. Lived and learned, and should have known better!!

If memory serves me, most of the Pitas are in the $7-$9 range which includes a side. The platters are a few dollars more. The Traditional Gyro and Chicken Gyro are on special on Mondays for like $6. If you sign up for their rewards program they'll occasionally text you with other specials.

it was pretty good and the prices were quite reasonable, but be careful. I believe that you're GF like me and the manager told me that their gyro meat has breadcrumbs in it, so I had to just get the chicken kabob, but they did have a gf wrap.
I just looked at their website and it looks interesting. Sounds a lot like Blaze Pizza. Do you know if they are a knock-off?
similar. rapid fired has a few dozen locations... most in ohio. they opened up a spartanburg location a month or so ago. i thought it was clean/decent. these two will be their first in the southeast.
Farmhouse Pizza for old Monterrey’s on Laurens Road.
